Variation in between kindle edition and normal edition books?

Query by Hiccup Z: Big difference among kindle edition and typical edition books? I'm a school pupil and I'm trying to conserve income any way I can. I'm buying my books online and I noticed that some of the books I need to have I can buy on my kindle, and some are less expensive than an actual book. Is there any genuine distinction in between kindle editions and any other edition of a book? I don't want to be totally lost if I need to track down some thing in the middle of class. Thanks!
