Question by Sunshine: Can I get books onto my kindle with the USB cord as an alternative of wifi? If the USB cord is plugged into the pc and the kindle, is there a way to download books onto it? My wifi at house isn't functioning and I really want to add some new books! Greatest response:

To get your purchase to your laptop or computer at the time of buy: 1. Choose "Transfer by means of Laptop or computer" from the Supply to: pull-down menu on the solution detail page. 2. Save the file to your personal computer when prompted by your web browser. three. Connect Kindle to your personal computer with the USB cable. four. Use your computer's file browser to drag and drop the file to your Kindle.
