How come when I attempt to use the web on my Kindle Fire, it does not function?

Query by Austin: How come when I try out to use the world wide web on my Kindle Fire, it does not perform? When i press "web" on my kindle fire the screen goes grey for about a few seconds then it just returns to the property screen. It is connected to my wireless network and all apps that demand Wi-Fi perform just fine. I only start to have issues when I try to use the web. Is there a way I can fix this problem? It would be excellent if you restart the kindle for 20 seconds. If that doesn't function, restart the router.
