Question by gopreds227: How do I completely turn off a kindle? I have a Kindle Keyboard with 3G which demonstrates the ads when it really is supposedly off. I search at it a day later on or so and it says the battery is dead. How do you turn off a freaking kindle? Best solution:

You could perhaps seem in the manual that the kindle came with [perhaps a PDF file on a Compact disc if not a booklet].
