How do I delete anything on an old kindle fire so I can resell it?

Query by Austin: How do I delete every thing on an old kindle fire so I can resell it? I was thinking about offering my kindle fire since i genuinely don't use it all that a lot. So how can i wipe all of my data off of it so i can? Best solution:

De- Register your account from this Kindle Fire and then go into settings and restore to factory settings with/without having backing up.
